Hi mate.
Just out of interest I have had a cheapo dual camera on my Tiger for 3 years now. Being a Yorkshireman I hunted around and found this camera for 60.

I hunted around under the seat and found a switched live (which also feeds my satnav) so it starts recording when ignition is on. I have a 32GB sd card in it which gives me over 4 hours of recording before it loops. It is a good system as you literally fit it and forget it. The only problem I have had with it is I could never get the GPS working. Here's a sample of some video from it:

Hope this helps.

Trouble is putting something on Youtube doesn't necessarily reflect the original video quality, so is pointless for comparison purposes.

I put the one below up on YouTube
And it's not as sharp as the original which is a lot better.
(Drift Ghost X camera)
(And I know the camera wasn't positioned quite right.... :002:)

Yes indeed! The original quality of my video is also really good.
I agree, you cannot use YouTube for comparison purposes.
Mine was just to show what you can expect from a rear camera.

I got mine several years ago. A quick look on ebay shows that VSYS are still selling this camera as
the C6L which I don't think has the gps module (rubbish anyway). Just bear in mind that you are
buying from China so it will not arrive tomorrow and if anything goes wrong you could be struggling
but it does still seem to be good value for money.

Thanks Kempy, that's really good footage and just what I was looking for.  I think I'm edging towards getting one.

You're welcome bud, glad to help. I'm very happy with mine.
I'm off on tour with it for 2 weeks tomorrow so will be getting into the habit of taking the SD card out of the bike at night to copy the files to my laptop as I want to capture every minute of my trip!  :046:

I had a K1 for quite a while and could never get it to work reliably. I would stop after a ride and I could hear the little box stuck in a loop talking and at some random point during the ride it locked up and quit recording.  I spent 2 years trying to get it working reliably before i just pulled it out of the bike as I don't trust it.

I've heard the K2 is more reliable but I'm hesitant after getting burned before, I'm quite curious to hear how they work for other people as a dual camera is something I really want on my bike.  However if it's going to just randomly stop recording I'd rather not have it at all.
