Hello - Tiger XRx Owner Lincolnshire UK
« on: July 10, 2019, 05:10:09 PM »
Hello all

Bought a 2016 Tiger XRx (Low) recently to keep my Triumph Street Triple 675 company in the garage  :002:

Have been in hospital for a few weeks recovering from a routine op that had complications so still building up my strength.  Rode the Tiger home 2 weeks ago and loved it ... except for when I was slow riding at a point I couldn't safely overtake or filter.  Felt wobbly so need to do 2 things now:  1. Learn how to slow ride 2. Judge the width of the panniers so when I do filter I don't bugger up other vehicles with my metal panniers.  Oh and decide which screen to replace with and get quote for nicer looking and more user friendly panniers  :031:

Hi Suzy and welcome from another adopted yellowbelly. Sorry to hear about health issues but the tiger will put a smile back on your face.  I wobble like a drunken sailor with the panniers on when 9n a trip, but solo its rock steady, just need to get used to it and a different riding position from a ST.
Lots of opinions on screens, but for me madstad is perfect and they come up on here from time to time.
Cheers, Steve
