Coming from the Africa twin, without the oil sight-glass down Under and with one of these removable oil gauge scale, from which I could never actually read the oil level I am very happy to be back to simple sight-glass, Always works !

That's about what I do, about 1/4L less, run it for 5 mins, then top up to level.

Check on c/stand, block of wood under front wheel to level up, lean over the seat with small mirror & torch to check the level. No kneeling on the floor, fekdat.

Ok for you m8, I got highsided, didn't fly well, bad landing, split Tibia plateau in two.
Current bikes Tiger800 XRx, Tiger Sport 1050, Ariel FH 650, Yam Serow 225.
