Hi,
This is my question!
Is it safe to fit a 170/60 zr17 rear tyre to my Tiger 800 abs?
Thanks in advance.. 👍

Not on Triumph's recommended tyre sizes for the 800.  Why go so large when the 150/70 works so well?

I'm not spotting any insult in that reply. Just an accurate reply and a reasonable question. Have you thought about being a little less touchy?

(Unless you were reading the footer on Kildare's posts which you'll find on the bottom of all his posts, so it isn't specifically directed at you.)

I think you have read the footer. That's not the answer, it's just the "signature" for the user.

Just to clarify for those of a delicate disposition.

My footer is a quote from the Film Forrest Gump and a dig at myself and previous self inflicted injuries though stupidity.

As is my footer which applies equally to both motorcycle dynamics and my occasional riding style. Occasional meaning less than 1 k/hr and lots of people watching.
