Easy problem: Clip location coolant overflow 800XCx?
« on: August 19, 2019, 12:16:57 AM »
800 XCx.  Doing a valve cover leak and valve inspection.  But got this clip and suddenly cannot remember where it goes.  Is the coolant tank vent/overflow line.  Cannot find it in Triumph service manual either.

Anybody got a moment and can hopefully peek where it goes?

From the pic it looks to be the clutch cable clip that goes on the inside right hand side plastic. I think.
Laterally unstable unless moving.

:0461: though from the picture I take it that the clutch cable isn't connected as it certainly doesn't go that route on mine ....

. and the clip goes on the bracket off the radiator side plate (just left of the Torx head screw).

Also owned my 1979 Bonnie T140E from new!
