LED Headlamp - Great!
« on: August 24, 2019, 03:39:46 PM »
So I have installed the complete assembly LED headlight.  It took me like 10min and the quality of the item is excellent.  You just need to connect one plug and the back from the perspective of the rider looks really clean.  And the light is great.  It is like daylight in the night.  I have just one picture, and it is not so good, but forgive me.

Looks good, is that a genuine triumph part or aftermarket? I was toying with the idea of fitting led's

It is aftermarket, Chinese, if I remember correctly.  I got it from USA.  something like 450usd.  you can always fit LED bulbs, but c0mplete assembly is much superior.

Hi! Any update on the headlight ... durability and quality after a while still good? Can you post some more pictures with the lights on maybe?
Is there any switch to only have the DRL on without low beam? Or they always go off together?

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience!

the parking lights come with turning the ignition on.  to engage the low beam, you need to start the bike.  and yes, the light works just fine.  it is often hit and miss with getting stuff from China, but that one seems to be of an excellent quality.  Just to share, I got one for Versys 300, and while the light assembly is very well made, the low beam points too low and the high beam is not so good, so I took all the thing off.  Hit and miss as I said.  But the one on Tiger is great.

sorry, my bike is in India and I am locked in Thailand due to the so-called 'virus'.  but you can trust me that the LED light assembly is amazing.
