Toadily wasted rally 2019

Anybody off to this rally?
The Triumph rallies are all finished until next May but this is a good one, down Worcester way. I missed it last year, bit of a bug got me. I went the previous few years, good party & plenty of Trumpet owners. Good selection of real ales, tasty scran & noisy bands. Weather looking ok.

@grizzlybear, your chums Dave & Di were telling me about your accident, sounds bad, hope you bounce back with full movement.
I planned a nice bendy non M'way route down, not too good though, roads were running water & dirty crud, then the last 15 miles rain, had to put tent up in it. Tent up, it stopped. Saturday was dry & sunny but the ground was sodden. We were lucky to pack up in the dry on Sunday. Had a good crack there, met up with several chums & drank too much beer. Good assortment of bikes, more Harleys than owt else, those boys ride in any weather.
With the Severn back of the site, has it ever flooded that site I wonder, they're well prepared for it, but not where we camped.

The river has reached the decking at back of pub. Ahh, so you know Di and Siz, nice couple. I actually gave them away at wedding at Isle of Man TT
I am standing next to Siz in grey TT top
I have put deposit down on a 2018 XR and hopefully I will ride it home on Sat, if I ain't fit I get deposit back 🤞

I think we had a bit of a chin wobble a couple of years ago. Siz? is Di your sister or that a nickname. We were camped next to Dave & Di at the Manx 2016, been to the Toads rally 3 times now, missed last year.
You got cruise control on the new bike, might help the recovery but I only use it on M'ways.
There was a good crowd from Oddballs mcc, see them at other rallies. And WNW mcc, not seen those boys before, they a local club? All very sociable, great atmosphere.

Di ain't my sister and her name is Diane. Known them for 30 plus years.
Think I done about 5 Toads rallies at three different sites
