Hi All from Essex
« on: October 26, 2019, 11:29:27 PM »
Hi All from Witham in Essex. Well, its only been 40 years since i owned my last Tiger ( 79 Meridian TR7 750) but I am back to the brand and I am loving it. Became the proud owner of a new XRT in white three weeks ago, and wondering why I left it so long to get a triumph triple. Just clocked up 500 miles and got the first service out of the way on Thursday, but the nice shiny Tiger is no longer, after an hour and a half in the rain going to and from the dealers. It looks used now !!!. It came with the free explorer panniers deal that Triumph were promoting and I have a white beak sitting at the dealers for me to collect and fit in the next few weeks.

Joined the Suffolk branch of the TOMCC so hoping to meet up with a few Tiger owners , when I show my face next month.

Look forward to reading more on the forum and hopefully contributing where I can. Will try and upload a few pictures once I have my beak attached

Ride safe

Mike

Hi and :401:

As you can see from my signature, still got my 79 T140E Bonneville from new, but some have tried to convince me it's now a 'Tiger' as I run a single 1 & 3/4" SU carburetor on her instead of the useless twin Mk2 Amals ..... says Bonneville on the panels and always will be as far as I'm concerned.  :017:
Also owned my 1979 Bonnie T140E from new!

We don't stop playing because we grow old .. WE GROW OLD BECAUSE WE STOP PLAYING!!!
