Hello from Portugal
« on: November 04, 2019, 10:35:49 PM »
Hi Tigers,

My name is Bernardo and I am living in Almada, Portugal.
I am riding a XRx, in wich I had to do some changes to improve the ride - front sprocket, Madstad windshield, risers, etc. In the beginning I felt the bike very unstable, things got better after the changes.
I used to ride it from Almada (close to Lisbon) to Madrid and never got really tired. Its a very confortable bike in long trips.
Well, I just wanted to say hello, wish you all enjoyable and safe rides.
Um abrao!

Hi Bernardo,  :401: to the forum and always good to read posts from our European members Esp. if they post piccies of trips and good places to visit to give us a heads up.

Nothing planned myself yet  :003: but Portugal trip is on my list. Never been but really ought to as my dad was from Madeira ( Funchal ). Thinking Santander, West  through Green Spain ( which I've ridden before ) to Coruna and then head down the Silver Coast and see where I end up.
Is wild camping frowned upon over there ?
