Back in the room..
« on: November 06, 2019, 03:28:13 PM »
So I had children and sold my bike 18 years ago, a wonderful Aprilia RSVR factory. I've never forgiven them for that. But at the weekend I bought a white 2014 800xr and it's wonderful to be back! I've only had the kind of bikes that have tried to kill me or put me in prison so this is a revelation (and at approaching 50 years old a comfortable one too). I was worried it wouldn't be enough but after a few rides the motor is wonderful, neither lacking nor scary. As a way of getting from A to B across the so far wet lanes it's brilliant, so confidence inspiring and I love it.

Hello all from a new fan!

Mike

Thanks for all the welcomes, good to have friends. Just been out for a lunchtime blat to Rye in the sun and love it more and more. I told myself I'd cherish it and not ride about in the mud but the pull is too strong..!
