Thanks again for the warm welcomes.

Collection day Wednesday is coming around fast - mind you, where I am in the midlands the weather is so bad I wouldn't want to go and collect the bike today!

It does look like a great forum in my, limited, reading so far. I have ordered a power socket and read up on where the connecter wires are tucked away. Learnt that I can charge/condition the battery on the bike using the aux sockets and have posted a question on how bad are the standard tyres.

A new Oxford Stormex in Large has arrived - I will have the luggage off when parked at home - I home it fits?

:187: . has the newer XRt lost some. As standard the/my 15 XRt came with 3, 1 next to the ignition and 2 on the LH side just below the passenger seat on the plastic undertray.
Also owned my 1979 Bonnie T140E from new!

TBH, I don't recall, I was busy getting a better deal than what they offered.

I know there was one to the left of the ignition and I presumed (now there is a scary word!) that anything else was extra. It was only a tenner so if they are fitted, it save me the hag and if they aren't, I have one to fit.

As far as I know on my 2018 there's just one socket by the ignition and a USB under the seat.

Ah, that sounds likely given all the USB gadgets we now use. I've never found the need to use the under seat power sockets anyway. :028:

Well it's Tuesday evening and I collect the bike tomorrow. Really looking forward to it. The weather looks dry, if a bit chilly so I will get to test the heated grips and seat.  :123:

Yep wrap up warm old timer and don't forget to wash the road salt off when you get home. Where are you collecting it from?

Ah, I have the secret bikers trick to keep warm.............................................natural body fat  :152:

No need to wash it, it will rain again soon.

Not the best time of year for a new bike, but what a great bike to get at this time of year with heated grips and seat.

Enjoy.   :152:
