Hi and welcome from a Tiger Newbie too - well, soon to be a Tiger Newbie (on 20th November).

I am in my 43rd/44th year of riding - 1976 after buying a Suzuki TS90 - and still adding to the list of mikes I have owned. My current one, to be px'ed is a Ducati Monster 1200S.
Londoner living in Leicestershire, working in Nottingham (soon to be Northamptonshire) and riding a 800 XRt.

You'll enjoy the XR!

Just down the road a bit more Kincumber near Gosford.
Great bunch of people on here and very helpful too.
Let us know when you venture down this way.
Cheers Jim

Then we are the same vintage mate, my first bike was a 1975 RD 250!  :001:

Welcome. I had a TS90T in 1972. Fun bike. They were everywhere in Wellington (NZ) then. At college I think there were 6 or 8 parked in the student motorcycle parking area each day.

I think the 90's were a little rare here in the UK - everyone wanted a 250 due to that being on the, then, learner limit. I did swap up to a Suzi GT250 (Ramair model).

I still like a 2 stroke and I decided get back into them a few years ago. My workshop was full of these:

Left to right; Suzi TS250 1978, Yam RD400 1977, Yam RD400 1978, Yam YA-6 1965. I did have another RD400 (1977), that had a 250 engine in it too, that didn't make the picture. All sold off now as I just didn't have the time to tinker with them.
