Newbie from South Africa
« on: December 02, 2019, 06:07:38 AM »
Quick intro, not much to say at the moment other than I'm hoping to pick up my first Triumph this week. It's a 2012 Tiger 800 XC with ABS.

I'm a complete newb to Adventure riding other than a very quick stint on an XTZ 660 a few years ago. Hated that bike, it was mind numbingly boring to ride. Haven't even ridden the Tiger yet but I've found one and I'm getting it so I hope its a bit more fun.

Not a newb to riding, been riding and racing Enduro bikes quite extensively from 2007 to 2016 when life and children took a higher life priority. Now I simply dont have the time to race anymore.

Anyway, Howzit, from a Scotsman in South Africa.

Only been once to South Africa about 20 years ago, from what I remember great place for biking. You'll find the Tiger is the all purpose bike.
Life is too short to drink bad wine or to ride bad bikes.
