Physically probably yes but a) I imagine they would just about but up against each other and b) Im not sure how this would affect the integrity of the handlebar strength as in effect they would be attached by one large central clamp.  :084:
We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are.

Clamps look the same as 800. Wonder if the XC 800 clamp would fit. That's a 30mm rise, then SW Motech 20mm under and that's 50mm
Lost again

Whilst they both agreed that 90% of owners will never take either of the bikes offroad they then spend 90% of the review on offroad use?

Will be nice when we get some proper road use reviews and particularly when compared to the current 800's as most of the reviews so far seem to praise the offroad benefits of the new 900's but less impressed with the road use over the current 800's?

Was hoping to have had a test ride by now but the current lockdown position has put an end to that for the time being.

Indeed, I can't help but think the 800's are just as good (if not better) on the road than the new 900 range.

I have had a test ride on both the Pros.  I really liked both of them.  The GT is a completely different riding experience compared to the Rally, the geometry makes for a very pleasurable ride indeed.  I had an XR and in my opinion it is an improvement.  I have ordered the Rally Pro, I currently have a XCA, for the type of touring I do it suits my needs better.  Again in my opinion it is an improvement.  Do I need a new bike....no, do I want the Rally Pro....yes!

Maviso: Have you had any luck with panniers yet? The 900 at London show which had panniers on looked like it used the same locking tongue. Perhaps too good to be true that the Givis would fit.

In some ways Im glad mine didnt arrive before the lockdown. It would be painful having it sitting in garage and nowhere to go!
