Good Morning All

Picked up my 2011 Tiger 800 just over a week ago.  Its my first bike having just scratched a 30+ year itch and finally got my bike licence.  Loving being on two wheels instead of four and put a couple of hundred miles on the clock getting to know my new friend this week. Heres a bad photo taken at the dealership....

Hope the upload photo thingy worked.....

Also spent a fair bit of time browsing the forum and you guys have built a fantastic resource over the years which Im already finding invaluable.

Look forward to participating.  Meantime, Merry Christmas one and all.

Welcome  oNLIme, I had the same model in that colour prior to trading it in for the 2017 xrx. By the way, yours is an early 2011 model, the chasis color was changed to black at mid year. Enjoy the new toy, have many safe and fun miles with her.

Thanks for all the messages everyone.

Ill happily agree with Penry - 800cc is about 550 more than the original plan (!) but training on 600s and the behaviour of other drivers has moderated that view.  I feel safer on a bigger bike.  Plus the Tiger is so smooth and progressive and only as fast as I ride it....

Neogas, Im actually a Bath boy now based in Failand, SW of Bristol after a lengthy mini tour of the UK.  Mrs oNLIme is a Bristol girl.  Looks like youve ventured further...
