Tool library
« on: January 06, 2020, 09:20:30 PM »
Looking at various threads referring to specialist tools for some jobs got me thinking, would members participate in a tool library?
Might only work at a local level to hand over and hand back tools.
Got a few things not used very often.

I think it is a great idea but I cant see it working in practice. I know traditional motorcycle clubs (the ones that have club meetings and newsletters and things) often have tool and manual libraries that they have trouble maintaining. Ive been involved in the photography side of things where lenses are shared as part of challenges (get the lens, take some photos for a short period and post it to the next person on the list sort of thing) and the challenge always falls apart fairly quickly when somebody simply disappears or claims the lens was posted but it never arrives.
