I use Barkbuster Blizzards, these look good though. Found a clip

Im not keen on those muffs that you have to put your hand into a sleeve like arrangement. I would use the BarkBuster Blizzards in preference to these ones.

They do look snug but the restricted access in comparison to the Blizzards is an accident waiting to happen in my opinion.  :164:

Moreover, I would also say that anyone who needs to look at the bar controls, via the little window, while riding should not be riding.  :110:

No use to me with my bar end mirrors and the bark busters LEDs would also be useless  :003:

I like the Blizzards, but wish they came back another inch or so, top and bottom.
Based on 3 years ownership

Not wunderlich, but I have used Oxford muffs for many years and leave them on more of less all year. Unbeatable for dry gloves and nice and warm with heated grips.   You can't beat a nice warm muff on food set ride.   Interestingly,, when touring Norway summer I got a lot of positive feedback about them, but didn't really see any others in use.  Function over fashion every time.

I have the barkbusters storm and would like something that fits over them.
I think the blizzards look to short. Would like something more weaterproof.
The oxfords? Enough space inside for switches? Do tou think it will work with bark busters? Thanks

Rorut, mine go over the standard 'guards with no problem, and I have also used them between the guards and bar, but it's a bit of a faff as you have to make a hole for the bar and weights etc.  I don't believe the BBs are that much bigger and the Oxford muffs are pretty flexible.   Can you go to a bike shop and ask to offer one up to see if it's miles out or workable?

're the LEDs, I have some cheapo Chino ones fitted to the muffs a soldering iron top makes a good ziptie hole and they work really well (so much so that I have just added a switch to turn them off at night as the reflection off the madstad screen was distracting !).
If look at the tours topic on the Denmark and North Germany  thread there's a photo link to mine, though now I've got different drls on the muffs.  Pm me if you want more pics of info.

Givi do a set of muffs that fit over handguards. A slight faff with OEM heated grip and foglight switches, but you can still get to them and you're not generally going to be fiddling with them on your journey.
