It's big enough to stop the bike falling over due to side stand sinkage into soft ground.
Benefits are that you do not have to find it, position it and remember to pick it up every time you want to stop where it could be required.
Small price to pay I suppose at 5.60.
My last one for the RT was a lot more, but that's due to having the BMW tarrif added by every manufacturer that thinks they can get away with it  :172:
Don't ask the question if you don't want to hear the answer!

Oh right I see. I have a puck under my seat I use if need be or I use centre stand. So as my puck is about 3 inch diameter how big are these big foot thingys?

Larger plates don't help in every situation.  :001:

But because the Tiger side stands are actually manufactured from a cheap job lot of leftover spears from the battle of Agincourt that Triumph obtained they are one of the most useful things any Tiger owner can fit if they ride anywhere other than asphalted roads.

Does the one from Ali Express clear the centre stand OK?
Received it today, took about 3 1/2 weeks. Got to say it looks and feels like a quality piece of kit for 6 inc postage...and I can confirm that it definitely doesn't foul the centre stand.  :047: :001:

Can't see why it wouldn't fit your xcx...but for 6 quid it's worth a try  :169:
