This Mudguard Extension makes a big difference.
Went from having a part of the Atacama Desert swilling about under the seat and rearward section, to being effectively dry, in rain and dusty conditions.

Hi Chapo, My bike is a T. T. 800 Xrx Low 2018, model, The rear extension that I have put on my bike is the one that you have seen on e bay  number  190893077741. Triumph part number T2302037. This number is not used in the uk parts list. I asked the company ( Total Triumph ) if this would fit my bike and they said yes so I went ahead and purchased it, I didn't have to much trouble fitting it. You should send them a message asking if it will fit your bike.
I have also fitted an R&G Rear Hugger.  Hope this helps, Ponch101

You don't need much, this is what I had on mine (it's actually a mountain bike mudguard)
Lasted 4 years on the Tiger and I've now got it on my KTM all for about a fiver or less if you make it yourself

Fitted this to my 2018 XRT. Perfect fit and very well made. I had the R&G extender and that was fairly good but this supersedes that one. Should be fitted as standard. Ideal on my long commutes in the rain down the motorway...

They were fitted as standard on the 2011-2014 Tigers here in Australia then when the rear mudguard rules changed they have not been fitted since.
Having owned bikes with and without them I can't say I have noticed any difference at all to the dirt on the rear of the bike or luggage or my back.

Thanks for the knowledge. I guess each to their own and if it works for me that's what matters. I do 700 miles a week and in inclement weather I can see a difference with road spray and general crap that covers my top box and rear area of the bike. It's all good.
