Weird sounds
« on: February 13, 2020, 08:24:32 PM »
I've recently noticed strange sounds coming from the front end of my tiger. I cant visibly see anything wrong but when I release the throttle it makes a kind of gravelling sound. I dont know how else to describe it and I'm puzzled. Any ideas?

If you mean when the engine is on over-run, have a look at the can chain tensioner

Camshaft chain tensioner tensioner. My 2012 rattles for a bit when I start it but will go away after a few seconds.
