Actually had a short ride out Saturday to do a couple of chores and gave my latest addition a short test run (about 15 miles).

Initially fitted the front on the higher setting (as it came) Friday between rain showers, where it sits fairly tight up against the bottom of the tank pad and I just sat on it for feel ....

.... but for Saturday I dropped it to the lower position before going out and unlike the standard seats the pillion seat doesn't dig into your back. The front is fitted with heating which I'll sort later. For now I just bagged up the standard heated seat power plugs with a small plastic bag and rubber bands.

Obviously need a proper ride to assess, which realistically will be the Wales Megameet, but initial thoughts are . feels comfy, like sitting on a large bucket type seat, like a tractor :005: :492: and definitely more noticeable a total lack of forward sliding and scrunching of certain parts ... :028: . plus I could also put my Airhawk on top as well .... if that didn't make for a long distance seat then nothing can.  :005: :008:

So bored with this lousy weather I've already started provisionally mapping out a potential timeline for the Germany Megameet next year. I plan to take my time and make it worthwhile, probably something like Wed - Tues/Wed? that will certainly road test the seats comfort. :017: :305:
