Triumph filters are made by Wix. I always use oem after a mate totalled his Kwak when a K&N split on him.

Yeah just yesterday I used the "screwdriver and hammer" to remove a triumph filter, the cup wrench just turned on the cap it was so tight. It took some force to make the filter move - sometimes this happens if the seal is not oiled on fitting. Anyway replaced with a K&N with a Nut as it makes all so easy the next time.
I did try with a chain wrench but I could not get a bite and with the crash bars and sump guard there was no room really.
