Where to install Tutoro chain oiler?
« on: March 12, 2020, 03:26:39 PM »
I was going to put it in the void just under the seat as done by a guy I saw on YouTube. (2:30)

but then realised newer Tigers have an additional weld (or whatever it is) to that part of the frame so I can't lie the flat mounting bracket there.

Anyone got any ideas for a 2018 Tiger 800?

Hi applecorp

I couldn't get mine "inside" the rear subframe due to the height of the reservoir, so mounted it slightly outside - easy to access and refill, but tucked away enough not to foul anything or catch on my leg.
Hope this helps.

I installed mine a bit further back on the bracket for the pannier. Easy to get to, but protected.
