yes i have a scotoiler X system fitted, fantastic bit of kit, i got it at manchester bike show last year, no vacuum pipes, just connect to battery, fill it up and off you go, i use my sponge invention for cleaning and oiling the chain in the garage, when its not being ridden, or in winter when wet and salty roads mean you need more oil on your chain, and it needs bit more TLC  :028:

Good to hear somebody is as chain anal as mesen, I've had Scottoilers on all my bikes since '95 when I first tried one. Now got them on 3 bikes a vSystem, vSystem touring kit & an eSystem on my T8. Not tried the xSystem...yet, looks to be as good as the eSystem and cheaper.
Current bikes Tiger800 XRx, Tiger Sport 1050, Ariel FH 650, Yam Serow 225.

Hahaha, I am bad with every part of my bikes, but chains, engine oil and tyres are my main three, I even have a spare set of complete wheels with off road tyres, to swap over when I want to do a bit of green laneing,my username gives away my age.  :001:  I am that bad, that as we cannot ride at the moment, I just spent a day and 5 toothbrushes cleaning every inch of my bike  :001:

Wish I had 5 in my family. Only the two of us and that's not enough toothbrushes to give the bike a good clean! Maybe we should get some lodgers.

I was using Motul grease type chain lube for a long time . But it collects so much dirt. I would think most grease , engine oil or diff oil . Would also collect a lot of material because of the wetness . I didnt want to use the dry way sprays because I am old school, but I just put a new set of sprockets and oring chain . So I switched over to chain spray wax . It drys fast and my chain seems to keep a light film of lube and does not get near as dirty . I dont see how 90wt would not cause dirt to build up quickly same as a wet gooey grease ?

All oil, chain wax, grease etc. Will collect dirt, I personally still use a scottoiler X version, but after I have cleaned my chain with either paraffin or a proprietary chain cleaner, I just give it a good run over with this to coat it before the scottoiler does its work.

This surprised me. I've got a Scottoiler fitted and wouldn't be without it. But it makes you think.
