LED front fork lightbar for my Tiger
« on: May 01, 2020, 12:12:01 AM »
Installed a 6-light CREE LED lightbar on the front fork of my 2018 Tiger 800XRt using brackets I fabricated and powdercoated. I was able to easily connect to the Fog light relay using Posi-Tap connectors, utilizing the single factory switch for both. The light puts out 2250 lumens at 30 watts and draws less than 2 amps. The perfect hi-viz running lights!

Have you checked clearance on full compression on the forks? I reckon you will break something if you hit a large enough bump.

Yes, on the pegs. Probably would be an issue for heavy off road pot holes. Road riding has shown no issues to date.
