Spare wheels
« on: May 25, 2020, 06:06:28 PM »
Does anyone know if the new Tiger 900 Rally pro tyre pressure sensors can cope with two pairs of wheels ?

Looking at getting a spare pair of wheels with some 50/50 tyres on, but would like to know if I can still use TPMS.

On some bikes it's fine but require a specific procedure to get it to work, I suspect Triumph just buy in the firmware with the ECU. so could be similar.

What it needs is for one wheel to be changed and then a blast around the block to initiate and pair it. Then do the other when the first one has been done.
Hopefully that would be a one-off procedure.
Can't say it'll work with a Triumph but worth trying.
