Is Triumph in trouble?

I don't understand your logic, would you rather they keep everyone employed right up until the firm goes bust?

What if all the major bike manufacturers have to make redundancies due to the worldwide economic downturn caused by the coronavirus, would you never buy
any motorcycle again?

That guy is a twit. He had drunk the Royal Enfield cool aid and seems to go out of his way to denigrate Triumph at every opportunity. Eighteen months ago he was about as heavily into Triumphs as anybody could be then something happened. I would not take anything he says as gospel to start with much of the info he presented in that video is just plain wrong.
There is no doubt that Triumph like all auto manufacturers (2 and 4 wheel) is hurting at the moment but their total sales volume in 2019 did not drop anything like 18% overall which is what happened to the company that is apparently gods gift to motorcycling if you believe one YouTube armchair expert.
