Buzzy Mirros and bars - found a fix
« on: June 11, 2020, 02:43:56 PM »
A few on here and on a Facebook group have mentioned buzzy bars and mirrors at round 120-130 km/h (75-80 mph) and I have looked everywhere for bar end weights for the MY 2018 on. In the end I decided to come up with my own solution. I am a big fan of R&G stuff so I looked through a few pics for something that would possibly work with the recess in the hand guards and then find an appropriate length bolt. I settled on the weights for the speed triple (similar engine characteristics) I needed to upsize the countersunk M6 bolts from 40mm to 60mm length, but a quick blast on the motorway has finally eliminated my buzzing mirrors!

Personally I use the Barkbuster weights, as I filter a lot and they are low profile.

Do you have a pic of the barkbusters fitted?  I wonder how they blend in with the fitted handguards.

https://barkbusters.net/products/accessories-spare-parts/3525-b-066/

Manufacturer website link above. Plenty of UK sellers of these

Edit - actually I think these are for use with Barbusters handguard kits so may not fit with Triumph handguards
