Im toying with Chunnel to Ypres in Belgium on the Weds. Ypres to Esch-sur-Sure in Luxembourg on Thurs. Finally Esch-sur-Sure to Frankfurt on the Friday. Motorway from Wales to Folkestone and Dual carriage from Calais to Ypres, but smaller/twisty and more interesting roads thereafter.......

Sounds good you could go from Luxemburg to Trier follow the river Mosel and see some spectacular vineyards, turn right around Cochem up into the Hunsrck hills down to the Rhine and then to the Hotel. We did this last year if you like I can send you the gpx file.

Yes, that thought had occurred  :028:

Depends on how long we have to wait in the "holding pen" in Kent  :015:

I'm thinking Dover and the Chunnel might be a bit busy  :084:

Or possibly a Manchester - Frankfurt charter flight, we know a guy who flys from here https://www.cityairportandheliport.com/
Just down the road from your bridge, but I don't think I can fit my bike in one ?
