throttle problem
« on: July 19, 2020, 08:36:21 PM »
my 2016 tiger 800 xca has stopped responding to the throttle on a number of occasions.
it simply will not increase speed  but will hold current speed.
when i pullover the engine is running but the throttle will not respond.
then after a couple of seconds more it shoots back into life. ANYONE heard anything like this?

That is a serious  safety issue.
I'd get it checked out by Triumph dealer. To my knowledge, it hasn't been raised on this this forum.

I'd pull the connector on the end of the stepper motor and give it a good inspection/clean as a first measure
