Triumph Surveys
« on: September 30, 2020, 06:10:14 PM »
I keep reading that the Tiger 900 engine was produced with help from the feedback received by the customers/users......so, to the point...
I've been fortunate enough  buy 5 brand new Triumphs ...my good friend has purchased 7 new Triumphs!!... Neither of us have ever  been asked for any sort of feedback (other than the buying experience) ....so I only hope that some of you have had the opportunity to deliver the 'feedback' that is craved by the technical department, and not the marketing  dept.
Just sayin....

Im on my fourth Triumph and yes I do recall filling in a couple of surveys. Not sure I remember any questions about 800 engines though. Not much wrong with the 800 engine or bike itself. Not much wrong with the 900 either IMHO!

Main reason for increasing engine size is euro 5 regs.

Yes, understand the capacity increase to cope with the emission regs. for E5. This was more to do with the T-plane firing order....
Did anyone on this forum suggest a T-plane engine would be desirable feature of the new engine ?
just sayin...

I had a survey on 1st Sept, 6 months after picking up my new xrt. It had mainly marketing questions...what other bikes did you consider, how would you rate KTM790, Africa Twin, etc...what colours would you like to have...but some more 'tech' related questions on features as well.
They really should post a link here as well.
