A good test of the T900 Rally Pro with some easy unsurfaced lanes thrown in.

and if that little Tigger had proper booties on (like the Dunlop Trailmax Missions the V-Strom was kitted with) she would have kicked their collective ar$es even more than what she did in the test :-)

Great article, just joined Rallymoto and will be doing the Salisbury plain trg day and rally. 9000 miles on the A41s so will swap to the scorpion rallys beforehand.

I wouldn't consider it a proper evaluation either. I used to read Dirt Bike a lot in the 80's and 90's every time they did a group test they would insist on the bikes being delivered crated. They would put them together. Put their favorite tires on for the terrain they would test in so as to get a genuine appraisal. Same as road tests all bollox. BMW are clever they tend to use good stock tires makes for a good review.

Chaparral Motorsports did an evaluation of 80/20 and 50/50 tyres. The Trailmax scored really well in virtually every category in the 50/50 group, as did all 3 Motoz. Among the 80/20s, the A41 came last or almost last of 9 in almost every category except cost. Theyre not even the cheapest!!!!  WTF Triumph. Almost everyone buying a Rally/Pro would much rather have Trailmax or Motoz GPS. Both handle on road a lot better than the A41, give better mileage and are capable of some pretty serious off road. The Dealer where I bought mine usually, historically, would swap out brand new tyres for free. He wont even take the A41s off your hands because he has no hope of ever selling them. Really dumb marketing Triumph.
