Snapped off rear indicator, is it fixable?.
« on: October 17, 2020, 09:58:40 PM »

Hi, just picked up a 2018 XRT and managed to snap the rear right indicator off, it's not damaged in any other way, am i able to open this and reattach the wires and glue it?, or do i need a new one?, are there any alternatives to go for?, thanks.

When mine broke (I think they all do - eventually?) I tried 2-part epoxy and it was a hopeless exercise.
I went shopping for some completely different.

Mine was my own fault, today was my first time on it and i MIGHT have reversed into a bin and snapped it lols!, not used to a bike this size.

What did you go for?, do you know if this is compatible with the 2018 XRT - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-Street-Triple-R-RS-Tiger-XCA-XRX-XCX-XRT-Single-Indicator-T2700849/164117210259?hash=item263625e493:g:xEEAAOSwnWFeZn9~

Arent the indicators handed? So, right hand front would be same as left hand rear, and left hand front the same as right hand rear. Looks like right hand rear part number could T2700892 on 2018 & 2019 bikes although best to check with your actual VIN number.

for the opening and the wires can't tell you haven't open one, maybe someone else, but for fixing broken part that i have done to mine is to drill very small holes each side, (close to the wire hole) and insert with some glue a metal kind of needle  (holes and needles needs to be tight fix)
