The Oxford advanced heated grips are excellent quality and they have a great range of heat levels. Much better than the Triumph OEM ones for heat! They come in several different guises, all called by different names. The basic difference is the length of the grips. You need to measure the grips on your Tiger and make sure that you get the variety with the nearest length. Also make sure that the diameter of your bars is correct for the grips you choose.

The advanced range can be wired directly to the battery and will automatically switch off when you turn the ignition off, just make sure that the grips you choose have this feature if you plan to wire to a permanent live.

The only thing that I do not like about the Oxford grips is the hoofin' great controller which you have to fit somewhere

I agree with both posts above and can confirm that they will fit. I have them on my late gen2 xrx.

Really hot grips.
Couple of issues that I had / have:
Instructions and bracket were useless.
Throttle tube required a bit of filing.
Ended up using Gorilla Glue to secure.

After 1.5 years, Ive lost a couple of the LEDs on the controller.
Auto cut-off works only 50% of the time.
Retailer has offered a replacement but obviously wants the whole lot back for exchange, so I think Ill live with them or buy a spare set in the sale.

EL690UK
These are the adventure ones.
In the interest of fairness, I did have one of the led's fail but Oxford swapped controller under warranty, 2 years I think. The controller just unplugs, easy swap.
Hope this helps.

Anyone know if the Oxford grips can be driven by the OEM triumph switch setup?, if handlebars need replacing, and OEM ones get damaged during removal?

I contacted Oxford and they've confirmed  that the model I've linked to above has the same specifications as the EL690UK so I'll put in an order... were there any specific issues to watch or for when connecting them to the tiger 800?
