Grip pattern is the main difference.

Been using Oxford heated grips for years. Superb grips, much better than the triumph Oem heated grips. I had Triumph Oem heated grips on my other tiger 800 they were useless. I can never have my Oxford grips on the hottest setting as way to hot for me.Oxford grips get a big thumbs up from me

It would seem both grip pattern AND length (after finding my instructions).
Ive decided to take mine off the bike in order to get an exchange while theyre under warranty. Saturday project!

Could you video the process if you're doing it on a tiger 800.... would be very useful  😁

Not too much point on this occasion, as Im just swapping the faulty grips for new ones. The original install involved (obviously) taking off the OE grips and filing down the throttle tube.

A word of warning - fitting Oxfords to the throttle side is a bit of a mission as you have to file the sliders down to get them to fit. But reasonably straightforward - if time consuming - if you're patient! Useful video here https://youtu.be/aX4mV8XyPI8

A nice sharp Stanley knife or similar does the majority of the work in seconds, then finish with sanding.

The oem ones really are not hot enough, don't really want to scrap them as they are tidy, i'll see how i get on through the winter with them.

I've had Oxford grips on all my other bikes and they are so much hotter.
