I'm gonna order a Ultimate Addonns case/mount - options to be mounted on the bars, mirror stem, top mount etc.

Waterproof, has an opening for charging on the go so can easy power via the port at the ignition.
SP connect and Quad Lock are other decent mounts.

Quad lock with a Ram Mount is a good combination
Laterally unstable unless moving.

Don't forget about the potential risk of vibration damage to a mobile phone mounted this way.
Apparently it particularly affects iPhone cameras.
I believe quadlock sell a damping kit that fits between the mount and the phone case.
Just a thought.

Quad Lock also have wireless charging adaptor instead of a USB cable if your phone is equipped. I don't have one myself.

I've used various cheap versions over the years, but glad I forked out a bit more for the kappa holder (budget version of the Givi). Well made and with a substantial quick release clip to fix to the bike. Securing it the the bars was a fiddle, but got there in the end, and you only have to fit it once!.

Ultimate Addons case with a RAM mount is the way to go if you want something waterproof
