Once again Fwiw, the levers Chico referred to are a direct copy of the EVO1 Levers that I fitted... may even be the real thing, who knows these days.

Yes the quality is great but mine 'didnt' have the Clutch tang. So if you have cruise control you are snookered. If you look closer there is a little screw on the back that allows the lever to be extended but then groove that the screw sits in then opens up as a gap on the outer side. You also then have 2 different planes against your fingers because of the subtle hump in the upper part that then goes to flat/grooved towards your middle and small fingers.

Personally, it is not the sexiest feel, but I am sort of getting used to. But like I said I fitted a long strip of shrink wrap to minimise the different thickness and the gap. So that doesn't look sexy either..... but making the most of an average buying experience.

I got mine from Ebay. The first pair I bought didn't have the tang but I wasn't being careful about specifying a year. When I made sure I'd got the year as well, I got the right ones.

Short ones:

Long ones (I prefer these):

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CNC-Long-Brake-Clutch-Levers-for-TRIUMPH-TIGER-800-XC-XCX-XR-XRX-2015-2016/324348697520?hash=item4b84b05bb0:g:KqsAAOSwbyFflokJ

It's one of the first things I do with any new (to me) bike. Haven't had any problems with Chinese levers.

Good info. I made the calculated move of buying from a well known local Australian firm and was kinda prepared to pay above the odds for 'brand' name levers.

Silly me, all I/we needed was the right person to pop up with the right link.... would be kinda tempted to but those now, really not a fan of the Evo units.

Ps, can you measure the blade length from the tip to the mount pivot bolt for the lever assembly please.

The 1 star review on them implies they don't work correctly on a 2020.

NOT compatible with tiger 900 2020 brake light actuator not long enough causing brake light to be permanently on. gives error on dash. VERY DANGEROUS DO NOT BUY. 15 Nov 2020 08:44
