Well, I had a go at "fixing" the brake lever, pinned and fitted a small plastic ferrule -

I was one of the people who bought these to discover they do not fit. The small level which supposed to engage the microswitch is too short.
Luckily I was able to return them.

I am still looking for alternatives. The OEM ones are 1) too long 2) overpriced 2) out of stock.

My 800 has the Triumph short levers and I really do not like the regular ones so it's going to be high on my list of priorities to swap them out asap.

The 800 ebay and aliexpress ones fit fine it is the 900 ones that have a problem
