Well our hard riding 'Iron Butt' forum member managed 176,000+ miles before his 2014 Tiger expired.

I've been here over 5.5yrs and I don't recall many real serious mechanical issues, a couple of possible oil pressure issues (oil light at idle) but mainly the well reported and easily fixed gear change spring or spring locating peg failures but still allows the rider to coax the bike home.
I would say 30k on a Tiger is nothing to worry about provided it has had its proper 24k service.
Also owned my 1979 Bonnie T140E from new!

We don't stop playing because we grow old .. WE GROW OLD BECAUSE WE STOP PLAYING!!!
