Do you mean the Tiger 850 sport?
It replaces the base Tiger 900.

Yeah I don't think there is one. Unfortunately. We got the 850 instead for god knows what reason.

660cc ... Available 2021.

Actually you guys missed it, look at the drawings during the conference here
https://images.app.goo.gl/q7kEjpP3dKhhSstAA
There's the Trident 660, the Tiger 850 and a to be developped adventure sport, because the left side
drawing looks like the 850 and the one on the right has the same frame as Trident, so based on the
660 platform !

Quite a few reviewers have recently been speculating about a Tiger 600 based on the 660 engine.
However, a similar image was posted over at the Tiger Sport / 1050 forum back in
October 2018
, so not exactly 'news'. See here...

Still both Trident and right image share the same frame as I said, so it would seem logical they want a
piece of the V-strom 650, Versys 650 and Tracer 7 market share.
As the Trident is now confirmed, I don't see why this other model would not take advantage of the platform,
changing maybe suspension size and fairings, that's efficient manufacturing because there's more market
shares here than with the 850 "sport" nonsense.

Logical yes, but unlikely to me since they just announced the 850 and I expect they don't want to canabalize it's already likely to be mediocre sales.

The 850 is supposed to still be in the adventure segment, because let's be honest it's nothing sporty,
just a rebadged 900 and not having something in a 600c segment is purely lost sales, rather than if
people hesitate between a 660 or 850 triumph, which will still sell one or the other.
Trident 660 / 80hp 189Kg
Strom 650 / 70hp 213Kg
Versys 650 / 69hp 216Kg
Tracer 700 / 72hp 196Kg
I know Yamaha are larger than Triumph, but doesn's seem to me the T7, Tracer 7 and Tracer 9 are really
canibalizing each other in a bad way.
Anyway time will tell, keeping my eyes

My local triumph dealer has not heard anything about a Tiger 660.
Pity.
