Actually i do like the triple engine. Test rode an Explorer 1200 for 150 miles. Fantastic engine. If i changed bikes i would probably go for an XRX 2018 on model. Would need a test ride though as although the engine was a star the bike really felt top heavy and the tank was only half full. If the 1200 Scrambler had a decent tank I would be very tempted.

This and also the seat height surprisingly tall, were reasons for me not getting the 1200, I'm with you there buddy !

The Tenere hides its weight well compared to the Explorer. Just feels like a big dirt bike to ride so easy to get on with. Seat height seems much lower aswell. I find it easier to ride than my 2012 Roadie.

Both articles in my opinion make wrong assumptions, seems to me the left drawing was the 850 and the right something based on the Trident, because look at the frames of both.

The one on the left is spoked wheels so it's not the 850. Neither of the adventure bike frames look much like the 850. The bodywork on both is unlike the 850.

Sorry guys but I did nmot mean to start a discussion about the pros and cons of 660 v 800 v 900.
I received an email I think from Triumph which showed a photo of a white Tiger 600.  Unless I dreamt it!
Since no one else seems to have seen this, I must assume I made it up.
