Transmission fault warning

Hi!

I've installed today the new brake and clutch levers on my Tiger 900GT.
It went well and everything seems to work OK.
However, now it shows me the "Transmission Fault. TSA check manual" warning on the dashboard.
What could be causing this? I have not touched anything except the levers.

Were they genuine Triumph levers?

Some aftermarket levers are known to cause various errors on 800s and Explorers (search this forum) due to being poorly designed and/or machined and therefore not triggering their respective switches correctly.

No, they are not original ones. But at least one other person successfully installed them. They seem to be of decent quality.
However, the construction is pretty simple and I can confirm the clutch level engaging a switch underneath when pressed.
I do not see any other electronics around it which could be affected. Anything, in particular, I should check?
