Seen ap press release (Ride Apart)  that states the retrofit navigation and Comms package is now available. Would you fit it?

I may be mistaken but I heard it is about 200 quid? Dubtful I would prefer that over the nav I use now.

Isn't that for the MY20 Tiger 900 GT and Rally only ?

Don't think it's available for MY 18/19 models? It's been promised for years with plenty of problems along the way. Triumph web site still says "coming soon"... lol

TBH I would not fit it as it lacks features IMO when compared to a full fat sat nav.

No, it isn't just for the 900 GT - it is for 'From December 21, 2020, Triumph is proud to offer a new My Triumph Connectivity System Retrofit Package for some previous-model bikes. If you have a 2017 to 2019 Street Triple or a 2018 to 2019 Tiger 800 variant with TFT instruments, you can easily make this upgrade. Additionally, a retrofit version will also be available for Speed Triples and Tiger 1200s sometime in 2021. '

Beeline is pretty much the same thing but transferable.

Agreed. I have a Beeline and will probably stick with that. I have also seen threads stating that people have had difficulty coupling the unit to their phones. Therefore, would only contemplate getting it if (a) any coupling issues are shown to be trivial and (b) it offers some sort of significant advantage in terms of communications. Otherwise, it is a 'Non, pour moi, merci'.
