I would go with a Nitron R1 rear shock. They are by far the best for the money. Been using them about 10 years now. Quality is second to none. Have them fitted to all my bikes.

No sorry. Have some Hagon progressive springs and a non standard oil level. Works for me. To be honest I can't really tell much of a difference to the standard springs although the bigger sir gap improves things.

Fancied one for my 2018 XRT but they don't list them for 2017+ unfortunately  :003:

I had a Maxton shock fitted to a 2013 800 Roadie and I swapped it straight onto my 2018 XRX, so all early Tiger shocks will, it appears, fit the later models..

It seems to me that the geometry of the rear and swingarm did not change at least from 2015,
i'm not even sure there is any difference to the 2013, maybe others here can confirm this !?

Delighted to hear you say that, as thats exactly what I ordered this week from HPS! The incredibly helpful boss there spent ages with me patiently explaining in numpty-friendly terms how suspensions work, the said that while they offer Wilbers shocks, hed recommend the Nitron ADV R1 as being more suitable, a higher spec - and nearly 100 cheaper, too!

I rode down to Teignmouth to take the bike to a chap called Simon Rolls, whos a leading member of the SW Bikers group and was recommended as being very knowledgeable about bike suspension set-ups. I can send you his mobile number if you like
