I went for Nitron R1 ADV. The only (old) questions is: why was I waiting so long?

Love the way bike handles although I must admit I only compare with stock shocking shock ;)

We all ask the same question to be fair.

I hope this is the case as I'm about to splash some cash on a Nitron for my 2018 (as mentioned earlier in the thread Nitron don't list one for the 2018 so there is some uncertainty).   :028:

Just contacted Hyperpro dealer via ebay and they said the 2017 shock they make definitely does not fit the 2018, so this throws more confusion up in the air for me.

9 years ago I was a customer serviceman, but technical side, the issue sometimes with some companies, is you deal with pure administrative sales reps, which have no clue and say no to not have bad situations.

I've not seen any changes in the shock from 2017 to 2018, looking at the improvements lists of triumph.
Maybe the best way to be sure, is to ask a triumph mechanic, if the shock changed at all.

That's a good call, I'll have a word with my local Triumph dealer.

So, I called my Triumph dealer...they didn't know and recommended I called K-Tech.   :138:

They make motorcycle suspension. I have heard of them and apparently very good. But what a thing to say from the dealer.
