Rally Pro rear brake seems very weak

Could be, it just needs adjusting to suit your foot position, so you get leverage. If same as T800 adjust at master cylinder, follow back of brake lever up, 5 minute job. Dealer might do it FOC.

Thanks a lot for all the replies. I think i will ask the dealer to  let me know if its normal or not and perhaps ask them to adjust it. It could just be that.

Other than that, I'm loving the bike. A big improvement for me over the Explorer XRT, which was too heavy for me,  and I find the engine just a lot more exciting than most bikes I've ridden lately. Can't wait for the weather to improve so i can go touring.
