New seat?
« on: January 22, 2021, 09:50:23 AM »
Morning all. A daft question  perhaps but I mean to ask it before I spend any money. So I need to know if the front seat from a 2013 xc will fit on a standard 800 of the same year?
Much appreciated.

I was about to start a post on a similar theme.. do you know if the Triumph alloy sump guard or Triumph crash bars (just lower crash bar versions) from a gen 1 fit a gen 3? It's on a roadie but don't think that is a factor.

Well, the lower crash bars will fit all versions of the T800. The alloy sump guard is a different  matter though. I fitted a gen2 guard to a gen3 T800 with some slight modification to the front upper bolt holes so it is possible. I suppose it depends on if you are prepared to experiment.
