The Crossrunner is perfectly competent and I was riding a Honda at the time so no problem with the brand or quality, but dull. The tiger is way more engaging, characterful and interesting/fun to ride. On the tiger I got off with a big grin on my face... not with the crossrunner.

Exactly, difficult to pinpoint just doesnt stir you  :0461:

And im 99% certain the 900 will do that.....

Welcome back ! There's one thing the crossrunner would have blown your head off with, the freaking valve check bill... I know some dudes that put some mileage on, servicing a V4 is a nightmare, it's twice the work !

I'm also a Honda transfuge from late 2019, I had a 2016 Africa Twin and being now a Triumph convert, I can say without a doubt the famed Honda quality is long gone, or nothing to talk about next to Triumph, there's no comparison my AT was rusty, with a bad gearbox after 36'000 hard all year long km, while my allready 20'000km tiger 800 is in perfect condition !

Enjoy your new toy !

I switched from a T800 to an explorer and never found the explorer anywhere near as engaging, despite the brilliant 1200 engine. Switched last month to a Rally Pro and find it so much more fun and definitely engaging! Also my wife loves the RP and finds it more comfortable, which helps. Welcome Back to Tigers and I知 sure you will enjoy the new ride.
