GT Pro Delivered
« on: February 10, 2021, 10:56:08 AM »
Finally got ownership of the new GT Pro

have got that Tiger feeling  :164: :164: :164:

Two issues though, mine has 1700 miles on the clock. Cannot for the bloody life of me connect my S10+ to the bluetooth and that CCT rattle on start up scares the bejeezus out of me

Ive got her booked into Laguna on Monday for a health check / software update hopefully the bluetooth module has not been enabled (or they can advise me how stoopid and paranoid im being)

Otherwise once OK'd ill be putting on top box / panniers / fendaextenda / rear hugger.... oh and ill definitely be putting some miles on her.... (when this frigging snow goes)

Well, she has been through a full health check and passed.

Noise on startup (CCT) normal apparantly.... ok, ill bow down to superior knowledge

3 Software updates, now have functioning bluetooth etc

So all good.

Time to ride when we are "allowed" out

meantime. Panniers, hugger, fendaextenda....., back box....

Fitted some upper engine bars to my GT today - saves the wing plastic / radiators if nothing else .

No not yet the bike only done 3000 miles, because of shielding etc have not been out on it, otherwise 1st service is due July this year. Hopefully we will be able to put some miles on.

I also put the upper protection bars on yesterday, along with the spots - a combination job. All went well until I came to replace that beak! I found it nigh on impossible to get into position without displacing those threaded inserts. As the sun was setting on me, I retired to a beer and have slept on it. Getting psyched up for another foray.
