Hi new to tigers but not to triumph ,past bikes inc 765 rs ,scrambler 1200 which I really liked but couldn’t get on with the suspension and now the rally pro 900 which I already slid on the ice missing some road closed signs recently, first crash for 30 years riding including loads of track so not too bad really
Interesting reading regarding the upper tank bars on the 900 , I only had the lowers which held up well but the tank still got mullered ,now just ordered the outback motorek bars plus some double take adventure mirrors ,triumph heated grips are still awful as far as I can tell ,it’s odd as the seat gets nice and toasty however if you then have the passenger seat on and the grips etc it’s all fairly cold ,main dealer says it all seems fine to them which is the norm
Anyway a virtual beer to everyone and look forward to learning more about the tigers ,James

It hurts to break the new toy, but hopefully you're unhurt so that's good !
Makes sense the butt gets warmer, you have all the weight of your torso and head compressing
the clothes on the heating, while you'd need to squeeze the grips extremely hard to have the
same effect, even if I agree on principle, my oxford on the yami are freaking toasty !
Keep on riding !

Thanks for the welcome ,I’m liking the look of the double take mirrors and there is a lot of adjustment which is really easy to do and the vision seems much better than the oem but that’s just sat on the bike in the garage ,hopefully there is no movement out on the road
